As part of the American Now exhibition at the McColl Center an exhibition timed to coincide with the Democratic National Convention, occurring in Charlotte that year. My response was Polling Station, an exhibition in two parts, and installation and this suite of drawings,  both of which were working out questions about the nature of citizens’ sense of agency within our democratic system, and the physical mechanics of voting.
